First day of training-August 10, 2009

We arrived at about 8:00. Watered and scooped poop. This would be the first day of training since Matt was wiped out after taking the young women and leaders from our church on a camp out and horse back ride. His horse had an altercation with a pit bull and bucked Matt off. Naturally, he wasn't at his best Saturday when he came home. He didn't feel up to training the "wild mustang." He doesn't work on the Sabbath and he won't work horses either so here we are today. He had hoped to start training by working the horse in the round (oval) corral and eventually getting a halter on him so he could lead him around the pen. He met these goals--surpassed them even!!!
